HS 300 - Healthcare Ethics

HS 300 Healthcare Ethics is a 3-credit hour course where students examine the ethical issues that impact the healthcare industry. The medical, scientific, moral and socio-economic bases of these issues and the decision making process are analyzed. Topics will include informed consent, the role of the institutional review boards, medical errors, health care provider impairment, sexual harassment and gender discrimination and end of life decisions.
