PHI 444 - Sex, Gender and Ethical Behavior3 This course will cover psychological, physiological, social, development, and spiritual factors in human sexuality. More specifically, we will explore the extent to which our most solid perceptions and conceptions in regards to sexuality and sexual behaviors are socially constructed and how, in turn, these shape our lives. We will address issues such as stereotypes about masculinity and femininity, gender differences and gender roles, personality and social expectations, sexual identity and sexual orientation, and sexual performativity. Fianlly, we will consider the intersections of sexuality and social class, race, religion, AIDS, and leftist and rightist political and religious ideologies. Lecture
